Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BuzzTracker’s website and software (the “Service”), operated from Cape Town, South Africa. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

The Service

BuzzTracker aggregates reviews from third-party platforms into one place and uses AI to score sentiment, detect topics, and draft replies. Features and limits depend on your plan. We may improve, change, or discontinue parts of the Service, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@buzztracker.co.za if you suspect unauthorised use.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Plans are billed in South African rand (ZAR), monthly or annually, in advance, as shown on our pricing page.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • We may change our prices; we will give you reasonable notice before a change affects you, and price changes take effect on your next renewal.

Third-party platforms

The Service connects to third-party review platforms (such as Google, Hellopeter, TripAdvisor, Facebook, Fresha and Trustpilot). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. You are responsible for having the right to connect the business accounts you add, and for using the Service — including any replies you publish — in line with each platform’s rules and applicable law. We are not responsible for third-party platforms, their availability, or changes they make to their services.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service unlawfully, or to post false, misleading, or manipulated reviews or replies.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
  • Use the Service to infringe others’ rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights.

Intellectual property

The Service, and all software, content and branding we provide, belong to BuzzTracker or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your subscription is active. Content and data you bring to the Service remain yours; you grant us the rights needed to process it to provide the Service.

AI-generated content

Suggested replies and other AI outputs are drafts to help you. They may contain errors and are not legal or professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and editing anything before you publish it.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the Service being uninterrupted, error-free, or that data from third-party platforms will always be complete or timely.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, BuzzTracker is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law, including under the Consumer Protection Act.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us, other users, or third parties. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
